Its crews filmed across Turkey, the Middle East, the Balkans, the Caucasus and the former Soviet Union.
The archive is operated by Birand Yapım in Istanbul. It holds 26,617 catalogued tape segments: broadcast programmes, raw interviews and location rushes, mostly on Betacam and 1-inch tape.
